 (*) ALES score is only required for Turkish applicants. Applicants of Turkish nationality can also submit their GRE (Quant. Min.: 139) score certificate, if any, instead of ALES. International Applicants are not required to submit documents such as GRE.

  1. The application process can be done online, in person or by mail.
    • For Master's applications, the Undergraduate Transcript, and for Doctorate applications, the Undergraduate and Graduate Transcripts (in Turkish or English). (For other languages, Turkish or English translation approved by a notary public or Turkish Foreign Representations)
  2. For Master's applications, the Undergraduate Diploma, and for Doctorate applications, the Undergraduate and Graduate Diplomas (in Turkish or English). (In other languages, Turkish or English translation approved by a notary public or Turkish Foreign Representatives)
  3. Two recommendation letters
  4. 1 passport size photo
  5. For Turkish Citizens, ALES or GRE certificate valid as of the date of application
  6. The MSc. applicants who do not have any language certificate can participate in the UTAA FOREIGN LANGUAGE EXAM.

(***) For Turkish citizens who have graduated from undergraduate or graduate programs of universities abroad, the original or certified copy of the document confirming the equivalence of the diploma by YÖK, or the original or certified copy of the document stating that the equivalence application has been made to YÖK must be submitted. The original certificate of equivalence must be submitted by the end of the first semester. If the equivalence certificate is not submitted by the end of the first semester, the student is dismissed from the University.

(****) For Non-Turkish citizens who have graduated from undergraduate or graduate programs of universities abroad must submit the original "School Recognition Certificate" from YÖK or the document stating that they have applied for a School Recognition Certificate to YÖK. The original of the School Recognition Certificate must be submitted by the end of the first semester. If the School Recognition Certificate is not submitted by the end of the first semester, the student is dismissed from the University.
